Martin Binder Jeweler appraiser and owner, Robert Flude III, is a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Graduate Gemologist with more than 25 years of experience. He has conducted personal estate appraisals throughout the country for some of America’s wealthiest and well-known families.
Our services include insurance appraisals as well as estate and fair-market appraisal evaluations. We appraise diamonds, fine jewelry, and watches. All of our appraisals come complete with a comprehensive analysis, a detailed description of the jewelry item, and a photo.
How Long Will it Take?
Most single item appraisals are completed in one week or less. Please allow two to three weeks for multiple item and estate appraisals.
Unfortunately, we are not able to perform on-the-spot appraisals. Appointments are necessary to allow us to thoroughly clean and check the condition of each item. This ensures a fully accurate evaluation. Rest assured, all jewelry left with us will be safely secured and protected.
What Should I Bring?
Bring documentation such as sales slips, diamond or gemstone grading reports and warranties if you have them.
Always Insure Your Jewelry
As a rule of thumb, you should always have your valuables covered with an insurance policy. If you do not, be sure to contact your insurance agent today. This simple step will ensure that your jewelry is properly covered in case of loss, breakage, theft and mysterious disappearance.
